Babymetal

Happy Fox Day!

I've said a little something about Babymetal before. First things first, I'm obsessed with Babymetal. Half of the music I actually listen to these days is Babymetal. The other half is literally Christmas music or other stuff that comes on Pandora. Their album, Metal Resistance, came out today. Last night I couldn't sleep because I was so excited for this album. All day I was happy. I said "It's Fox Day!" every time I walked into one of my classes and threw my hands in the fox sign. I kept exclaiming "Today is a great day!" and it is. Metal Resistance is fantastic! They started the album out with Road of Resistance with was such epic start. I love Road of Resistance, which was also featured on their first album. Their live version of this song is literally a masterpiece. One of my favorite songs by Babymetal is KARATE, which is a newer song that's on Metal Resistance. It's honsetly so good. The guitar and drums in it are killer! My favorite songs from Metal Resistance has to be KARATE and GJ!, which was sung by only Moametal and Yuimetal. By the way, Moametal is the one on the right, Yuimetal is on the left, and Su-Metal is in the middle. {I am a horrible person and just found out who is who today because for forever, I thought Yuimetal was Moametal and Moametal was Yuimetal. To be fair, their website does say Yuimetal is on the right and Moametal is on the left.} Moametal is my favorite, even though I thought she was Yuimetal ever since today. I'm debating wheter Yuimetal is my favorite now because she is adorable and maybe that was why Moametal was my favorite. Anyway, I love Babymetal. Their music is so unique, combining heavy metal with J-Pop. Some of their songs also include other styles of music. For example, Uki Uki Midnight has dubstep in it and Iine! has an adorable rap interlude {which ends with a hardcore metal drop}. I just love their music and they make me so happy. I'll do more posts on other bands and music and of course, Babymetal in the future, but I'm doing to wrap it up here. Happy Fox Day guys! Bye 4 now!

How To Make Mondays Better

Let's face it, no one likes Mondays.

Ahhh, Mondays. They're here to stay. Mondays are the start of the dreaded week. Whether it's school or work that interrupts the weekend, it's Monday's fault. I hate Mondays just as much as the next person does, but the other day, I watched a video that talked about how to make Mondays awesome. So, I'm going to take some ideas that were in that video and some of my own that can hopefully brighten your Monday.
  1. Plan something exciting for Mondays. People don't look forward to Mondays because there's usually something dreadful that starts up on Monday. Plan something fun to do. Hang out with a friend after school or go out for ice cream for dessert.
  2. Wake up a do a dance. Sure, may have to wake up early after sleeping in late on the weekend, but you can jazz yourself up by waking up and dancing.
  3. Make things easier for the morning. Prepare yourself a special breakfast, pick out your outfit, make lunch, do whatever you think will be helpful Sunday night so you have less to worry about on Monday morning. {This can go for mornings in general though}
  4. Find a YouTuber who uploads every Monday. This may seem silly, but every Monday, you can look forward to one video by a YouTuber who you really like. It could just simply put a smile on your face.
  5. The last tip is to rename Mondays. Call Monday something you like! In the video, it was suggested to call Mondays Mr. Rogers. Everybody likes Mr. Rogers!
I have some more posts planned for the future. I hope you enjoyed and followed one of theses ideas to make your Monday a little less bitter. Bye 4 Now!

A Year in a Review

Happy New Year!

Sorry that I barely posted this year. I'll try to do better in 2016! Things have definitely changed from last year. This year, so many things have happened! There are so many things I could have written about, but I'll try to recap some awesome things that happened this year. Earlier this year, I had my first basketball tournament. We played three teams and were so close to third place, but we didn't win. I played basketball in the spring as well and our team was on fire. We won trophies! This summer, I went to a Fall Out Boy concert with my friend Hannah. It's crazy, this January I started listening to them and then, seven months later I went to their concert on the 4th of July! {Fall Out Boy literally just came on Pandora XD} I fell in love with Melanie Martinez. She's an amazing singer and she came out with her first album Crybaby this August. I would've gone to her concert, but it was on a school night and the tickets sold out before I could get any. {Melanie is now playing on Pandora, holy crap} I love Melanie Martinez so much though. This September, I got interested in anime! Beforehand, I'd say I loved anime, but it was really just Pokemon manga and stuff like that. I completed Attack On Titan, Black Butler, Death Note, Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online 2 and I'm in the middle of Blue Exorcist. {But I haven't watched it in weeks /:} My favorite anime is Black Butler and I sort of have a crush on Sebastian. One of my favorite bands is Babymetal, which is a J-pop and heavy metal band. They aren't really heavy metal, but I love the girls of Babymetal so much!  I was a killer Peter Pan for Halloween. I had fake blood all over my shirt and on my face. I had a fake, bloody dagger and a hook in my belt so it looked as if I killed Captain Hook! My basketball season has started this year. I'm officially a Veteran and on Varsity. I made a basket in our first game which was pretty cool. Our team still have 17 games and 2 tournaments to go! This year, I definitely discovered a bunch of my passions and got into a lot of different things from bands to anime to movies. {As Tyler Oakley would say: I finally watched the life changing Mean Girls and Clueless} There lots of awesome things that happened this year and I'm excited for 2016. I feel like I'm slowly learning how to live a happy, healthy lifestyle each and every year. Here's to the next year!

APRIL

News flash: April is upon us.

Hello!! First off, I just want to state that this blog is just for myself. Last summer, I was always in the mood to do blog posts, but my computer didn't work and I didn't have a blog. I feel like this blog is just here so I have one and I can go to it whenever. I do not expect an audience at all! Anyway, April is on it's way! So much has happened so far in 2015! And I think I'm just speaking for Dan and Phil. Seriously, just three days ago, they announced that they wrote a book and are going on tour! Still crying now TBH. I'm so bloody proud of them! Anyway, this past week, I've been feeling very inspired to be healthy and productive. I've been going outside more and searching lots of workouts. I'm looking forward to the upcoming month of April and I want to share a small list of goals I want to achieve in April.

  1.  First off, exercise! I've been doing basketball for almost 5 months now and this winter was one of the healthiest winters I've ever had. Now, since I don't have basketball everyday anymore, I'm doing to do some more workouts and work on being more flexible because I am not flexible, whatsoever.
  2. Work on more arts and crafts. This weekend, I was painting and it was fun. It inspired me to find different ways to express my creativity. So, I'm going to take the time to work on an art project for fun or something like that. {EDIT: When you're DanandPhilCrafts af}
  3. Lastly, listen to more music. I listen to soo much music. At the start of my blog, my favorite band was Panic! At The Disco and P!ATD and probably My Chemical Romance were the only bands I listened to and obsessed over at that time. Now, I love all these other bands like Fall Out Boy {The Emo Trinity is basically my life}, Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Falling In Reverse, Paramore, Muse, etc. This month, I have all these bands that I want to listen to and I want to listen to more SWS and Muse and stuff like that.
Anyway, that's probably it for my goals for April. I probably should add "Do well in school" or "Don't miss Choir", but I guess the ones up there are the mains. XD A little update on my 2015 New Year's resolutions:

  • I'm a bit more confident. I feel like I can express myself more to my parents and some friends. I definitely a little self concision to what others think, but I learning to not let certain people bother me. I'm definitely not taking too many things too seriously and doing what makes me happy.
  • I made a few internet friends and had some lovely chats, but I didn't make any other friends. I did strengthen one relationship with a friend today.
  • I had definitely expanded my music taste and started listening to more and more of my favorite bands. Plus I have been wearing more black. I just really love wearing the color black.
  • Like I said before, I feel like I've been doing good with keeping a healthier lifestyle lately. I've been vegetarian for 3 months now and my teeth are still not the best. Haha...
In case you don't understand exactly all of the things I said up there, go check out my post on New Year's resolutions. Anyway, I guess this is the end of this post. So, don't do drugs, stay in school, eat your veggies, listen to your elders! Bye 4 now!

2015 New Year's Resolutions!

>_<  True.

Ahh. The new year. It's the time where everybody is ready to start the next year of their lives with good intentions and motivation. Then, after the next few weeks, we stop trying/caring about those goals. Haha.. Not all of us are like that. Looking back at my 2014 resolutions, I completed 3/4 of them. That's actually not that bad, definitely a first. This year, I have a lot of stupid resolutions. So, I'm going to share them right here:
  1. Be more confident in myself
  2. Make and keep new friends
  3. Expand music taste, get into more bands
  4. Wear more black & get nerdy, but awesome shirts
  5. Express myself more, talk about who I am and about my passions
  6. Do more research [on animals and abuse]
  7. Become vegetarian [I'm officially a vegetarian]
  8. Keep a healthier lifestyle , try more workouts
  9. Learn to not care about what other's think
  10. Do whatever I want to do, make choices for myself
  11. Have fun, don't take life too seriously
  12. Accept that I can't be someone else
  13. Do community service
  14. Take better care of my teeth, eat less sweets [I have horrible teeth, TMI...]
Umm.. yeah. Let's see how well I can keep all of those. Anyway, comment below what your new year's resolution is! Bye 4 now!

So it begins...

So it begins.

My name is Audrey. I'm in my first year of middle school. I have two sisters, two parents, and a best friend who is popular and had just gotten a tiny lil' kitten. But you probably don't care. Ugh. Introductions like this are so awkward. Or at least they seem that way to me. Or at least this introduction is awkward to me. I've made several blogs before, some of them I still keep. I've made reading blog (which I still have, but haven't posted on it in almost a year), a WindClan Warriors role-play blog with my cousin, and a life blog that will be similar to this one. This blog will pretty much have posts on whatever the fudge balls I want to post about. So, there might be some deep posts on a topic that I've been thinking and thinking over and over about. There might be posts with me just posting a picture of one of my favorite video games and then, talking about it in one short paragraph. There will be posts on things that have been going on with my life like "Oh my gosh guys! I was at a basketball game and I had the ball. As I was running towards the basket, aliens invaded the gym and gave everyone cheese sticks!". Plus, I might do reviews, like on songs, apps, movies, books, etc. I don't really know, but I'm excited to start! Before that matter, I want to talk about that collage up there. It's a collage I made on PicCollage of a bunch of different things I like love. So, here's some things about me (in relation of the collage)....
  • I love to read! Some of my favorite books are "If I Stay", "Divergent", "The Hunger Games" (THG trilogy), and "The Fault In Our Stars". "If I Stay" was really good and I felt that the love connection was real with Adam and Mia, and I love both of their personalities. With "Divergent", I was excited seeing all the trailers and wanted to read it very badly. I ended up like "Divergent" better than "The Hunger Games". :O But, I like the movie better than the book because in the movie, they showed Tris's struggle more.  "The Hunger Games", what do I have to say? It's perfect. Last, but not least, "The Fault In Our Stars". I'm still reading this one (almost done with it though!), but I really love it! At first, I didn't think it wasn't that great and that the love connection wasn't so real because Hazel was so in denial, but now, I'm like *swoon*. It's REAL!
  • YouTube! I spend too much time on the internet. Half of that time is on YouTube. I have so many subscriptions to so many YouTubers that have changed my life. Some of my favorite YouTubers of all time are: WatchUsLiveAndStuff, Smosh, PewDiePie, AmazingPhil, danisnotonfire, Joey Graceffa, Shane Dawson, Anna Akana, iiSuperwomanii, and Jenna Marbles. There's hundreds of others too guys. OMG! Ian and Melanie broke up! I cried when I found out! :(
  • Anyway, what's next? Oh, Panic! At The Disco. :3 My life. My soul. My everything. Mmm. Not really. We didn't get to Katy Perry yet. But P!ATD. *swoon* My favorite band of all time!!!!!!! In fact, I listening to them right now. Well, while you're reading, I might be doing something else, but as I'm typing this, I'm listening to my favorite album of theirs. I love their music so much and I cannot explain to you how much. Imagine what it would be like if my name was Sarah. (SARAH SMILES LIKE SARAH DOESN'T CARE, SHE LIVES IN A WORLD SO UNAWARE!) And Brendon Urie, he's perfect. Something the whole world can agree with. Moving on....
  • Basketball. Dribble, shoot, score! My favorite sport that I take pride in! This summer, I spent so many hours practicing some B ball and having a lot of fun at my local park. I can't wait until this winter when I get to play for my school!
  • Pokémon, gotta catch 'em all! I first got into Pokémon because of my awesome cousins. They introduced me to the games and all the Pokémon and it was great! I loved playing the games, even though I was a horrible Pokémon trainer, and was so excited for X & Y, it was unreal. But, sadly, I don't own a 3DS. *cries in the corner of the room* Tepig is my all time favorite Pokémon and who doesn't love Pikachu?
  • Speaking of video games, I'm a huge nerd. You probably could have already tell by me talking about books and having a blog dedicated to books, but I am like a big nerd when it comes to video games too. Some of my favorite games to play are "Mariokart", "Super Mario Bros Wii", "Super Smash Bros Brawl", "Just Dance 2014", "Soul Calibur 4", "Crash Bandicoot", and "Wizard 101". I spend so much time playing these games with my friends, with my family, or by myself.
  • My life. My soul. My everything. Katy Perry. Let's all take a moment to breath. Katy Perry. My queen. My killer queen. ;) (Katy Cats would so get that!) I have a bit of an obsession with Katy Perry. I love her so much. When I was younger, my family shared an iPod and on this one movie app, I would always go on Katy Perry's profile. I screenshot tons of pictures of her and not give a Cheez-It about taking up all the space or having 50 pictures of Katy Perry in the camera roll. I went to her concert on August 4th and it was the most amazing night of my life. I meet Ferras, who is awesome and Katy thinks he's awesome so that's awesome. I cried several times at the concert and through the first two songs she sang. True Katy Cat here!
  • Before I get into the last thing I'm going to be talking, typing, would it be considered typing or talking? I don't know. Anyway, before I talk about the last thing, I want to clarify I am a cat person! I love kitty cats so much. I have two of them named Kai and Pepper and they are adorable and a lot of fun. And yes, I would my future kitten Fluff Muffins.
  • Last, but certainly not least, Disney. *bomb explodes* I have a huge love for Disney movies and characters and all that jazz. Like most 4 year old girls, I was obsessed with princesses and was them every year for Halloween. My mom says I watched "Toy Story" a million times as a kid and I had a load of things Disney in my room. Nowadays, I think I'm still just as obsessed. My favorite Disney movies are "Lilo and Stitch", "Aladdin", "The Little Mermaid", "Cars 2", "Monsters Inc.", and "Frozen". And don't ask who my favorite Disney princess is because I'll be thinking of that answer all day. (They're all just so awesome)
Ok. I could says tons of other things like what's my favorite color (purple and blue), or what's my favorite food (currently: cookies and Chinese food), or where I want to visit when I older (Tokyo!!!), or even my favorite movie movies (Are you ready for this? "Catching Fire", "Divergent", "Lilo and Stitch", "Thor: The Dark World", "Iron Man 3", "Aladdin", "The Little Mermaid", "Frozen", "Edward Scissorhands", and "Katy Perry: Part Of Me"). Anyway, expect plenty of more posts from me, some might include pictures of my pets and maybe my face or a friend's face. I'm excited to see where this blog will go. That's all for now I guess. Bye 4 now!
